My Communication Skills Were Anything But Artful.
I totally get where you are coming from, babe. Communication was literally my worst skill. In my previous relationships, the only way I thought I could get my point across and be heard was if I yelled and hollered. I thought the louder I was, they would finally hear me and listen. Nope, was I wrong. And that only created volatile communication and very poor conflict resolution. And of course, my needs never got met by my ex- fiance.
Then, I finally had the courage to get vulnerable and truly share my heart with my ex-fiance. The first time I dared to do this, I sounded like an 8-year-old (not even joking) reading off what I wrote on paper, sharing my feelings, and what I needed from him. From this point on, I made it my mission to master my communication with men and get crystal clear on what I truly desired from men. We have to be radically honest about what it is we truly desire, want, need in order to communicate properly. In this phase of communication, it was about authentic expression & desire, courage, and not wavering on my hearts deepest desires. As well as observing my fiance (at the time) to see if he could hold my feminine as I communicated me desires, needs, and wants very clearly. WIth time, it was very clear to me he couldn’t.
Fast forward, in my Sacred Union with my beloved husband, when we hit the “crisis stage” (or what I call the boredom and complacent stage) in our relationship - criticism and demands is how I communicated. This crumbled our sexual polarity and created disconnection. A new skill had to emerge - feminine communication to exalt the man of my dreams, and be in exaltation of my feminine to speak from the depths of my heart vulnerably. This was a huge missing piece in our union. A piece that reignited our love and created a new foundation for how I communicate with him. This phase was about vulnerable desire, speaking to a man that invokes his masculine leadership, surrender, and holding big sensation in the body.
Your Communication With Him Will Either Be Creative Or Destructive
Feminine communication inspires the masculine to rise and be a man for you and meet your feminine needs.
